Demonstrations & Forrests 01/28/2012
So much to do this weekend! Yesterday I joined a demonstration in Vienna at Heldenplatz; it was amazing, all the people, police everywhere, it was really hard to get some fine pics. Also because there are thousands of demonstrants trying to move forward, screaming, shooting with glass bottels...as you can imagine I was quite concerned about my new camera. Happily nothing happend to it and I'm also fine, even I was always trying to get closer to the protest waves, standing directly behind the police man.
And today I've been to the wood with my uncle and my dad. They were working, I was 'exploring' :) You can find the rest of the pics in my gallery.
Testing my new Sony Alpha 580 01/23/2012
Saturday, 8:00 am, on time, I picked up my new camera from the post office. As you can imagine; I love it. Of course the whole weekend I was busy taking pictures of everything more or less interesting, just to try it out. In about 2 weeks we are going to Tyrol for skiing. I'm looking forward to take some new pics there.
By the way, Sally was sold last week and now I have a new horse; Speedy Pro. You can see him on the picture below.
I want snow! 01/10/2012
it's Jannuary and there's no snow at all on the streets. Actually this has nothing to do with winter, it just keeps on raining all the time. I really miss the beautiful, white landscapes. Last year at that time the streets were almost overloeaded with snow in the evenings. I wish I would have taken a singe photograph, but i guess i was just thinking 'It's cold outside, let's wait for the next year'. And by now I cound't see a single snowflake in the sky.
Well, i going to wait for February, when I'm going to Galtür, Tirol. The newspapers say there is a lot of snow in western Austria (it didn't snow any time in Vienna - a pitty).
And finally I sold my Sony A290 to buy a new Sony A580. I hope I can afford it before we're leaving for Galtür.
So long, here a photograph of last years' (real) winter:

I just looked through all my photos and finally i found those pics of 2009.
And I actually updated my 'Main Gallery' ("Impressions", "Gallery")

It\'s been a while... 04/01/2011
since I loaded up the last photos. I'm back then and I can't wait until the 18th April, when I am leaving for Amsterdam! I hope the weather will be good so that I can make a lot of photos and finally get them on the website. By the way I was busy the last months but I have some new pictures for you. I hope you're going to like them.
Even if I had not enough time to upload photos from the last two weeks (because I have about 15.000 photos on my PC) I took some older ones and made another section into the Gallery-Area. When I started making photographs, I focused on animals like horses and dogs. But now, after four years I feel like this is not enough. I want to see more, learn more and to try out something new.
Anyway I uploaded some older ones, I hope you enjoy anyway.
The last days have been passing by so quickly that I hardly found time working on this. Anyway, I'll get this started, so here are the photographs of the last 6 days. Remember to visit 'Impressions', where you can find a small overview of my work until now. Don't forget to come back soon
